Shearwater Group plc launches new SOCaaS Offering
Shearwater Group plc and its portfolio companies, can now offer a Security Operations Centre as a Service (SOCaaS). We have designed our standard SOC to be a tiered offering in order to meet the varied needs of our clients. The determination whether to choose Gold, Silver or Bronze will be driven by numerous factors such as number of users, in scope devices, events per second, user support and required services.
The SOCaaS enables organisations to continuously protect valuable information, by proactively detecting and responding to malicious and non-malicious threats, as well as enabling them to maintain or improve their resilience in an ever-changing threat landscape.
Our objective is to provide a best in class Security Operations Centre, which leverages specialist tools and resources and drives trusted and long term relationships with our clients.
Shearwater Group plc comprises organisational resilience companies that service clients of all sizes across the globe.

A GLOBAL COMPANY
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
“After reviewing the costs associated with existing systems we found SecurEnvoy’s tokenless approach to be a far superior and cost effective solution.
The most important benefit was removing the need to physically distribute tokens for setup, renewal and repairs. This obviously resulted in much lower administration costs. Our operations are now streamlined as we have a simple software solution for 2FA that backends to existing LDAP directories, rather than a disparate proprietary database. Users also have one less credential to remember as we have chosen to implement Windows passwords as the second factor. SecurEnvoy’s product licensing model was also a big attraction as it was more flexible than our legacy token solution.”
“Finding and classifying personally identifiable information within a sea of unstructured data is a particularly challenging problem…I was introduced to a product that claimed to be able to find and classify everything we had ever produced – the downside, however, was threefold: The installation was tricky, the server size requirements were huge, and the amount of time it would take to process our data was considerable – several days in fact. Since then I have been introduced to Ascema by GeoLang – and the contrast could not be greater. The Ascema Data Discovery tool virtually detected every unstructured file type I could throw at it; but beyond that, the installation – a simple Manager/endpoint agent deployment – was incredibly straightforward and effective.”

“Brookcourt Solutions and McAfee have worked in partnership for over 8 years where they have delivered SIEM expansions and the latest technologies into the largest telecommunications provider in the UK, which include subscription renewals and facilitated McAfee training with one of the UK’s leading digital education and skills provider. “We are delighted to have Brookcourt Solutions as a strategic partner, where we regular share intelligence on opportunities that our clients are pursuing, this has significantly helped the planning and delivery in meeting customer demands”.
“Cirencester Friendly saw the introduction of GDPR as an opportunity to look at the digital resilience of our internal processes. We identified that we had limited visibility of PCI and PII within the enterprise. GeoLang, as experts in data discovery, monitoring and DLP via their Ascema platform were the obvious choice as a partner to meet our internal needs. We now have the ability to audit and monitor our data across all of our digital estate including servers and endpoints with subject access and right to be forgotten requests easily facilitated via the Ascema platform. The added bonus of using the platform to inform and train our staff on appropriate data usage was a significant differentiator”.
