Group Chief Innovation Scientist /CEO of GeoLang
As Scrum Product Owner, Debbie plays an active role in innovation and the development of GeoLang’s Ascema Data Security platform. With over twenty-five years experience, Debbie is an expert in cyber security and natural language processing. Awarded the first Prince of Wales Innovation Scholarship at the University of Wales, and a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at Glyndwr University, Debbie has a PhD in Computer Science and has written and contributed to a number of patents. Currently a member of the KTN Defence and Security AB, Debbie was formerly an advisory board member to HPC Wales and the Wikimedia Foundation. As Principle UK and International Expert in language encoding, Debbie has written and edited two international (ISO) standards, chaired a number of BSI/ISO committees and is a named contributor to related internet standards by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
CEO of SecurEnvoy
Steve Watts is co-founder of SecurEnvoy. He brings twenty-five years’ industry experience to his role at the helm of Sales & Marketing for SecurEnvoy. He founded the company with Andrew Kemshall in 2003 and still works tirelessly to grow the company in new and established markets. His particular value is market and partner strategy; having assisted in the development and design of the products, and designed the pricing strategy and recurring revenue model that has been so key to the businesses growth and success.
Before starting SecurEnvoy, Steve worked as Sales Director at the networking and IT division of Comtec, and had started his career in office solution sales in 1986.
CEO of Pentest
Paul Harris has over twenty years’ boardroom experience in both leading-edge, fast moving technology enterprises and FTSE 100 global brands. With a career spanning a broad range of technology disciplines, Paul has consistently focussed on elements of Infosec from Offensive Security Testing and Industrial Control Systems, to Firmware, Software & SaaS, Data Centres, Hosting and IT infrastructure. Paul was the Managing Director of Secarma in 2018 and joined the Group following its acquisition of its penetration testing assets. Previously, he co-founded and directed BrightHR, a cloud-based SaaS Human Resources service for SMEs, and was a Director with Sage Group plc and UKFast.
Executive Managing Director of Xcina
Mark co-founded Xcina Consulting and is the Executive Managing Director. He has industry-recognised expertise in Technology Risk Management, Data Privacy, Internal Audit and Quality Management, and frequently chairs conferences, hosts roundtables and contributes to articles. He has developed and directed global audit and risk functions in a range of sectors including financial services, retail and manufacturing. He is a life-long Spurs and Saracens supporter and follows the England cricket team.
CEO of Brookcourt Solutions
Phil has over thirty years’ industry experience during which time he has been instrumental in the delivery of next generation technology solutions to many leading global FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies. Following a six-year secondment to the US as International Business Director for Info Products Europe (now SCC), Phil returned to the UK market in 2001. After a brief spell at NSC Global and three years at Repton (now CDW), he co-founded Brookcourt Solutions in 2005. In December 2018, Phil joined the Board of Shearwater as an Executive Director, and in April 2019 was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Shearwater Group.
